Quick Quote Pro FAQ
Quick Quote Pro is a web app. That means it runs in your phone's browser and lives on your home screen like any other app, but it does not come from the App Store or Google Play. You pay once, set it up once, and it is yours.
How much does it cost?
One payment of $97. There is no monthly fee and no subscription.
How do I set it up?
It takes about 5 to 10 minutes, in 3 steps:
- Make a free Netlify account. Go to netlify.com and choose Log in with Google (or sign up with your email). It is free and does not ask for a card. Do this first.
- Upload your download. Upload it exactly as it is, still zipped. Do not unzip it. You get your own web address.
- Add it to your home screen. Open your web address on your phone and tap Add to Home Screen. Done.
Your download includes a step-by-step guide with a picture of every screen.
I uploaded it but I can't find my link
This is the one spot people get stuck. After it says Published, your link is not showing yet. You have to tap twice to open it up: first tap Dropped files at the top of the screen, then tap the green Published bar. Your link then appears under Live in production and ends in .netlify.app. Don't tap "Based on Dropped files" underneath, because that only opens a list of files.
Is it in the App Store?
No. It is a web app, so there is nothing to download from an app store. It works on iPhone, Android and Samsung.
Do I need a Netlify account?
Yes. Netlify is the free service that hosts your copy of the app. The free plan is all you need, and it never asks for a credit card.
Do my customers need an app or an account?
No. You text them a quote link and it opens in their browser. Nothing to download.
Does it work without internet?
Once it is on your home screen, it keeps working offline.
